A peeling atenuado with fenol is an artistic medical method for facial rejuivination, it was developed by Dr. Foram Fintsi in 1985 in Israel.

How is the peeling with fenol atenuado done? Is done under general sedation and local anesthesia. Then the solution is applied to the face and the skin is immediately covered with a special adhesive that is left on for 24 hours. After removing the adhesive, a second mask is applied to cover the face like a second skin, which will be removed after seven days leaving new skin. The first three days after the application of the peeling, some patients may feel some discomfort, this can be controlled with an analgesic.
What is the difference between peeling atenuado with fenol, and plastic surgery?
The peeling atenuado with fenol is not a surgery, there are no wounds, and no sutures (stitches). The peeling forms a new skin with excellent quality, and also corrects flabbiness, without any change to the normal facial expression.
